Nat Grogan is a Visual Designer based in East London with 15 years experience working in agency, in-house and freelance roles. Working with a variety of entrepreneurs and brands (of all sizes!) she crafts distinctive visual styles through branding, web design and digital media.
Hi, I’m Nat - A designer with a thing for bold ideas and clean, confident design with a bit of edge.
With 15+ years’ experience across agencies, in-house teams and freelance roles, I’ve worked with all sorts - from fresh-faced startups to global names like Google, the Financial Times and Sony (yep, name-drop). Before going freelance, I was part of the brilliant team at PHANTOM, where I worked on digital campaigns and experiences for world-class clients.
Now, I work directly with brands to create thoughtful, striking visual identities and digital experiences that feel as good as they look. My sweet spots are branding, web and product design, with a style that’s editorial, design-led, detail-obsessed and totally filler-free - clean lines, tasty type, smart UX and a good dose of colour theory.
I love the full creative process, from scrappy ideas to pixel-perfect delivery. I’m big on ideas, but always focused on function. Whether it’s a brand refresh, a beautifully structured website or a digital design system, I bring impact, energy, collaboration and a bit of entrepreneurial spirit to every project. I’m just as comfortable working solo as I am slotting into a team, and always keep things friendly, flexible and fuss-free.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me down a rabbit hole, exploring design archives or turning a doom-scroll into market research. I like to stay plugged in to culture, trends and tech - so the work I make doesn’t just look current, it actually connects.
