The Beginning: Discover what the world is wearing, in real-time.
What began as a Final Major Project during my Master's degree evolved into SearchStyle - a multi-award-winning social network showcasing streetwear trends from 66 countries worldwide. Built from the ground up, the brand required a complete visual identity, from branding and digital presence to the website design, mobile experience, and digital and print marketing assets.

The Challenge
With 95% of users accessing the platform via mobile, it was crucial to create a seamless, visually compelling platform that allows users to discover, share, and shop global street style while ensuring an engaging mobile-first experience.
A key feature was the Fashion Map, allowing users to discover real-time trends from different cities, so this also had to offer a dynamic browsing experience.

The Process
UX Overhaul with General Assembly - Collaborating with UX students, we identified key issues:
📌 4 minutes to sign in via Instagram
📌 11 minutes to complete a profile
📌 High drop-off rates due to sign-up frustration
We implemented a streamlined on-boarding flow, integrating social/email sign-up, follow suggestions, and a guided walkthrough, reducing friction and improving user retention.

📌 Landing Page with Parallax Scrolling - Giving visitors an instant preview of the platform’s user-generated content while guiding them toward sign-up.

The Result
SearchStyle gained international recognition and attracted a vibrant global community of fashion enthusiasts. The platform’s design successfully merged social networking, e-commerce, and street style discovery, setting a new benchmark for digital fashion innovation.
Now rebranded, The SearchStyle Collective continues to evolve. Follow the journey on Instagram.
